Ad Trafficking
TANC directly represents college media with national brands attempting to reach the college audience. Beyond providing the ad management platform for scheduling and uploading banner advertising campaigns, TANC is able to leverage the inventory on individual newspaper websites and mobile applications by grouping them together in a network buy. This ability places a higher premium and allows for more revenues for both the newspaper and The Access Networksm. The same services can be provide to any other publishers or brands in need of a trafficking solution.
Custom Content
TANC resources can be tasked with populating content for CGP in specific locations to enhance the value of the applications licensed to brands and publications. This service, in addition to data entry of this content, is available upon request for nominal fees.
Custom Development
The Access Network is a software provider to publishers and brands. The needs of each client are unique and the TANC development team is equipped to address the specific needs of clients with regards to consumer based UI or new feature and functionalities.
Custom development on all products, extensions or developer tools is done with measurable outcomes that need to be well defined by the client. TANC will work intimately with clients through design and development to deliver exactly what is required.
Extended Support
As a component to all products and development extensions, TANC customer support is critical to the success of the tools provided. 24 hour support is provided for all CORE products for critical functions of the software.
TANC subscribes to the philosophy that the work put into a system is directly proportionate to the results and performance of a product – so it is the goal that each and every client has not only been instructed in the best practices of the solutions they use, but also have resources available at any time to resolve questions or problems. Training is paramount to the licenses TANC provides.
Network Perks
As an added benefit of using TANC products and services, clients are offered the unique ability to take advantage of the network of publishers, brands and institutions that are also utilizing our solutions. Many of our clients have similar operations with even more similar costs. TANC aims to cut those costs by offering Network Perks, the ability to leverage the power of the group to drive down prices on operational costs by purchasing in bulk.
Packages
College Publisher Standard - $1,995/yr
TThe College Publisher CMS includes a number of services and features classified as our ‘Core Services’*; perhaps not visible to users, they enable a secure and stable infrastructure for both your staff and your audience. In addition to the web-based CMS, you receive access to industry-leading systems to create campus guides, market e-commerce opportunities to merchants and distribute content on mobile platforms.
College Publisher Paid Support - $995/yr
College Publisher license fees largely go towards support and training. For publications that have minimal contact with CMN staff for semesterly trainings and user-related based support calls, the ‘Paid Support’ option offers significant savings. With this option, any training, support or design services are invoiced to the newspaper depending on the work required (we will need agreement to project costs in writing by newspaper staff before requests are fulfilled). To be clear, support calls resulting from irregular service issues are not charged to newspapers.
College Publisher Pro - $8,995/yr
The Pro version provides the newspaper with an installation of the unaltered Polopoly base code and newspaper theme many commercial newspapers currently license from Atex. This solution comes with extensive customization options unique to your organization. The code base is open for student development (in addition to CMN development resources) and the system can be incorporated into the news production process (depending on work-flow, import or export of data can be executed through an API).
CMN Hosting
CMN provides a subsidized hosting environment allowing newspapers to install any content management system they desire and configure it as needed. CMN will make plug-ins available for services like ad management tools, e-mail newsletters and city guides, but the setup and/or training around CMN-provided plug-ins will be billable at $150/hr. CMN plug-ins are optional services.
CMN WP - $4,500/yr
CMN understands that the increasing popularity of WordPress’ publishing platform is due to its ease-of-use and accessibility to the average reporter. CMN will provide a managed-hosting WordPress environment where newspapers will have access to design and configure their site as needed, while CMN assumes the responsibility of updating the WordPress core. All plug-in compatibility will be the newspaper’s responsibility after core updates (aside from CMN plug-ins). Support via phone and email is available, but emergency support (outside business hours) for design or development based issues is not included in this option.
