"The system has made page layout much, much easier. We simply weren't able to do the things we're doing now on our old site, either because we lacked the technical expertise or because the system itself wasn't as powerful.
Overall I'm pretty happy with our new site, and our transition to CP 5 is going well. Our site has certainly improved a lot, and our readers are starting to notice."

“Polopoly enhanced our coverage during Hurricane Gustav. [It has been] by far the most dynamic coverage of an event we've ever been able to execute. Some of that was based on our commitment to being good journalists during a crisis. A bigger part of that was the new CMS.
As new reports, pictures, video, maps, etc. became available, we were able to quickly and easily refresh the content on lsureveille.com. We were able to enlist the campus community to become citizen journalists and photographers, as well as contributors to the hurricane blog on the home page. We took advantage of every feature of the Polopoly CMS.”

"So far I am pleased with the ability CP5 has to display rich content. This CMS has given us the ability to interact and engage with our audience. A prime example of this was the recent Metrolink crash, where a student and alum died. We were able to post content live: we featured photos in slideshow galleries and a couple videos to give a 360 degree view of the story. One of our articles ended up with 149 comments. CP5 gave us the ability to supply fantastic coverage leading our traffic to surge by thousands of views."
