North Korea Summit on the Rocks?

North Korea might have cold feet over the planned talks between leader Kim Jong Un and Donald Trump set for June, saying they will abandon the summit if the U.S. forces them to submit to nuclear disarmament. The regime also isn't happy with U.S.-South Korea war exercises, and has canceled a high-level meeting with the South.

CNN reports, “A statement published by the state-run Korea Central News Agency (KCNA) said North Korea would never accept economic assistance from the U.S. in exchange for unilaterally abandoning its nuclear program.”

As of right now, the summit is still on, with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo still working with South Korea to achieve a Korean peninsula peace agreement and complete denuclearization.

New Twitter Strategy Targets Abusive Behavior

Twitter Chief Executive Jack Dorsey announced Tuesday that the company will be adopting a new method of tracking abusive behavior on the platform, according to reports.

Although Twitter already has many guidelines in place that prevent harassment, Dorsey explained that Twitter’s moderators will now be filtering tweets that display any abuse, making them appear less frequently in the feed.

Eight Universities Approved as Certified Medical Marijuana Research Centers

The Pennsylvania Department of Health has approved eight universities as Certified Academic Clinical Research Centers in Pennsylvania’s medical marijuana program, according to an announcement from Governor Tom Wolf on Tuesday.

The program allows each school to decide what aspect of marijuana it wishes to study in order to learn how effective the drug is for treating different medical conditions.

CMN's Lydia Calitri has more details — and the full list of schools — in her report.
