Study Finds 25% of College Students Sleep Text

A new study from Villanova University finds that adolescents and college students are experiencing an increase in a phenomenon called "sleep texting." Sleep texting is exactly what it sounds like: Texting in your sleep without the awareness, or often memory, of doing so. In the study, about 25 percent of students reported sleep texting at some point and, of those students, 72 percent did not remember the incident. Although it may sound silly, these episodes are a sign of a much bigger issue: sleep deprivation. What happens when you can't unplug, even while you're sleeping?

Marriott just announced that the hotel chain has experienced a massive data breach, compromising the information of about 500 million guests. The information stolen includes names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, passport numbers, etc. As if this wasn't bad enough, Marriot says the breach was first detected in September but may have happened as early as 2014.
