ProPublica released heartbreaking audio of children sobbing and calling for their parents at a border facility yesterday, stoking a white-hot controversy over the Trump administration's policy of separating immigrant families trying to enter the US.

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen defended the Trump administration's highly scrutinized immigration policy, while the president simply tweeted "CHANGE THE LAWS" as he continues to blame lawmakers for the policy.

Everyone from the House GOP campaign chief to five former first ladies to countless voices on social media have weighed in on the policy, while some simply search for the truth.

Trump Threatens China with More Tariffs

Donald Trump raised the stakes on a potential trade war with China by threatening potential new tariffs yesterday.

CNN reports, “The White House said Monday evening that if China goes through with its promise to retaliate against the US tariffs announced last week, the United States will impose tariffs on an additional $200 billion worth of Chinese goods.”

On Friday the Trump administration said it will impose a 25% tariff on $50 billion of Chinese exports. China almost immediately retaliated, outlining its own tariffs on $50 billion of US goods.

Rapper XXXTENTACION Shot and Killed

Rapper XXXTENTACION was shot and killed Miami yesterday while leaving a store. The rapper, whose real name was Jahseh Onfroy, was pronounced dead at a Fort Lauderdale, Fla. hospital last night. He was 20.

The unidentified gunmen fled the scene, and according to TMZ, police radio described the suspects in the shooting as two black males wearing hoodies, with the shooter wearing a red mask. It's unclear if robbery was the motive in the slaying.

Last But Not Least: iOS Update Will Share Your Location With First Responders

The latest version of iOS, to be released later this year, will feature location sharing when a phone call to 9-1-1 is made. According to Apple, iPhone users calling for emergency help will be able to securely share their location, providing for faster response times in life-threatening situations.
