If you are a doctoral candidate who is in the midst of writing dissertations, there is some good news for you.
The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines, is now accepting applications for its Dissertation Fellowship Program. Ten fellowships of $10,000 each will be awarded.
Successful applicants must be an active Phi Kappa Phi member in the dissertation writing stage of doctoral study. Mark your calendars because the deadline to submit an application for a dissertation fellowship is about two months away: Nov. 30, 2019. Recipients will be notified by March 1, 2020.
“Graduate school can be challenging financially and mentally for many students, and it’s programs like this that make it possible for us to succeed in our mission of seeking truth and speaking truth to power,” said Elizabeth Bell, a 2019 Dissertation Fellow, in a recent press release.
The dissertation fellowships are part of the Society’s robust portfolio of award programs, which give nearly $1 million each year.
