7 Songs to Add to Your Fall Playlist

If you’ve already got a playlist for the fall, here are seven more songs to consider adding.

Editor’s note: As part of CMN’s ongoing music journalism program, we asked our team of music writers to come up with a list of songs around a theme. They definitely rose to the challenge. You can see all the lists by browsing our music section

It’s that time of year again: leaves are changing color, the temperature is dropping, and bundling up in comfy sweaters and  ordering seasonal drinks at Starbucks is a daily routine. If you’re like me, you associate each season and each event in your life with music.

If you’ve already got a playlist for the fall, here are seven more songs to consider adding. And if you’re not the playlist making type, these songs may just get you in the mood.

Death Cab for Cutie “Autumn Love”

Blood Orange “Saint”

King Princess “1950”

Twenty One Pilots “Neon Gravestones”

Kacey Musgraves “Slow Burn”

Shawn Mendes ft. Khalid “Youth”

Anderson .Paak “The Bird”

All of the songs on this list were released this year, with the exception of one, “The Bird.” It was just too perfect and really encompasses the feeling of fall that I couldn’t pass up.

Happy listening!
