Drake Gives University of Miami Student $50,000 for Tuition
Dreams money can buy.
Drake made headlines on Monday after stopping in Miami and gifting two schools with a scholarship, donation, new OVO uniforms and an impromptu show.
Drizzy had visited the city to shoot a video for his new single “God’s Plan,” except the location was too good to be true.
Drake visited Miami Senior High School in Florida where he performed and filmed “God’s Plan”. The song broke Spotify and Apple Music’s single-day streaming record and jumped to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 list last month.
In social media videos, Drake is seen floating above the high school’s baseball field performing on a hydraulic crane over a crowd of students.
Aside from giving the school something they’d remember forever, Drake wrote a $25,000 donation check and said he’d both design and supply new school uniforms.

Turns out his good deeds came back to back. Drake decided he had to make one other stop being holding on and going home.
The superstar dropped by the University of Miami and awarded a $50,000 scholarship to one unsuspecting student.
Pre-dentistry and biology student, Destiny James, received the scholarship for help toward her tuition.
Originally, James thought she was about to film a video encouraging donors to donate to the school, but in reality, Drake had surprised her. Later, she took to Instagram to express her gratitude, thanking the hip-hop artist for his recognition of her hard work of applying for funding.
He just wanted her to be successful by providing dreams money can buy.
What a legend. Drake sure knows how to take care of his fans.
