The big story…
New Court Documents to Be Released in Russia Investigation
Three documents that are part of the Mueller report are set to be released today, including two sentencing memos for Michael Cohen and a document detailing “crimes and lies” by Paul Manafort. Reminder: Robert Mueller is the special counsel heading the investigation on Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. elections. President Trump is not a fan, taking to Twitter early this morning to point out Mueller’s conflicts of interest and to once again call the investigation a witch hunt.
Each of these court filings are being taken as pieces of a puzzle that will lead to a grand reveal at the end of the investigation in one final report from Robert Mueller. However, some journalists are saying that these court documents may be all that Mueller has.
