Gorillaz Rapper Falls Off of Stage During Roskilde Festival

During the Roskilde Festival in Germany Saturday Night, the rapper Del the Funky Homosapien fell off stage mid-song during a performance of their hit song, Clint Eastwood. Del was preforming this song, but he quickly took a misstep right off the stage. The performance was halted, with Damon Albarn telling the crowd, “Thanks for a beautiful evening.”

Festival organizers quickly posted a statement about the incident on Facebook, which read: “He was seen on site by a doctor and went to the hospital for further examination.  He also tweeted, he was recovering from the fall smoothly. “I’m doing alright but will be in the hospital for a bit, the care here is outstanding though.”

Gorillaz headlined the festival alongside Eminem, and Bruno Mars during the week-long festival, being one of the biggest festivals in Northern Europe.
