Is IHOP Really Getting a New Name?
After 60 years as the International House of Pancakes, IHOP is switching to IHOb.
On Monday, the chain restaurant tweeted that they are switching their name from IHOP to IHOb.

There is speculation as to what exactly the “b” will stand for in the chain’s new name. Ideas have been thrown out by followers that it may be changed to “breakfast”, “brunch”, or “burrito”.
Some users on Twitter originally thought that the tweet sent out by IHOP could be used as a PR stunt to increase interest in the breakfast chain, but a spokesperson for IHOP later confirmed to the New York Post that it is real and the name will be changing.
Stay tuned until June 11th when IHOP will be revealing the new name.
