Malia Obama Spotted With British Harvard Boyfriend

The young couple was seen walking around New York City this weekend.

Malia Obama, the eldest of former President Obama’s daughters, was seen hanging out with her Harvard boyfriend Rory Farquharson over the weekend. They were spotted walking through the SoHo neighborhood of New York City together, with Malia rocking an adorable floral dress.

Much like Malia, Farquharson isn’t any old Harvard student. He’s British, and graduated from a “posh” public school in the United Kingdom called the Rugby School, which is the birthplace of the sport of rugby. He was the head boy there and even played rugby himself. He’s a sophomore, placing him a year ahead of Malia in school, but as the same age as her, as she took a gap year before enrollment.

This isn’t the first time the couple has been spotted together, as back in November they were seen kissing at a Harvard Yale football game. A similar element in both of these sightings is a cigarette, as Malia was seen smoking one at the game, and Farquharson stopped to smoke one during their New York City date.

Plenty of famous power couples met in college. This includes Prince William and Kate Middleton, Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan, and of course, Malia’s own parents Barack and Michelle Obama. So we’ll see what the future has in store for this young couple.

Miami of Ohio Student’s Dog Returns After Being Gone for 10 Years

The black lab named Abby was last seen by her family in 2008.

A 22-year-old Miami (Ohio) University student last saw her family’s black lab mix named Abby when she was 10-years-old and playing with the dog in her backyard.

Then Abby was gone.

The student’s mother, Debra Suierveld, assumed that the dog had died. Then, last week, they got a phone call from Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley, Pa. Workers there had been alerted to the presence of a black lab who turned up on a porch in the area. When they noticed the animal had a microchip, they knew they had a great chance of finding her owners.

And that was the Suiervelds.

“We thought she had passed away,” Debra told the Associated Press. “It feels like a part of my kids’ childhood is back, part of our family is back. It’s pretty awesome.”

She immediately called her daughter at school, who broke out in tears.

Wherever Abby had been, the dog was in good health and seemed to remember her home and family — which now includes two other dogs.

“She would lie on the floor and cross her paws, and she remembers my daughter’s commands, and she remembers the commands I taught her,” Debra told CBS Pittsburgh.

Seems like it will be one happy reunion over spring break this year.

It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood!

TriStar Pictures announced today that Tom Hanks will be playing Mr. Rogers in the upcoming biopic You Are My Friend. Fred Rogers and journalist Tom Junod, who got to know the star of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood while writing a profile of him for Esquire magazine in 1998, and was known as a very cynical journalist until he met with Mister Rogers and his life was transformed due to his charm and natural love for the world.

With all of the current negativity and tension in our world, this movie will be a great asset to remind us all of the trans-formative power of kindness and love in the world, even on dark days.

Marielle Heller (Diary Of A Teenage Girl) is directing the film about Rogers, so keep your eyes out for trailers!

A modern-day love story.

Missouri State University student, Hayden Moll, emailed over 20 women from MSU with the same name after a missed connection on the popular dating app, Tinder.

Moll accidentally swiped left on the app on a woman named “Claudia’s” photo, which typically means the person swiping does not wish to connect with the other. He quickly went to work finding Claudia after realizing his mistake of not swiping right.

He only had two things to go by: that she attended MSU and her name is Claudia.

MSU is a public university and provides school email addresses to the public. Moll used this information to his advantage and emailed 22 women with the name “Claudia” in hopes of finding the one he was looking for.

According to Fox 2 News in St. Louis, Claudia Alley shared screenshots of Moll’s email along with her Tinder profile photo acknowledging that she is the Claudia he had been searching for.

Moll and Alley plan to go on a doughnut date sometime soon.
