April is STD Awareness Month, and Oklahoma University is doing it right!
OU’s Health Center announced via Twitter that students can schedule an appointment throughout the month of April.
Today starts our FREE STD testing for students! Here's what you need to know:
• All of April
• Call 325-4441 (option 1)
• This is a screening test. If you have symptoms or
have had a known exposure, you need to make an
appointment with a health care provider— OU Health Hut (@OUHealthHut) April 2, 2018
The health center also has tweeted facts about STD to inform students. According to a Center for Disease Control statistic listed on the Health Services website, one in two sexually active people will get an STD before the age of 25.
