Police: Missing Florida Student Found Shot to Death
Priscilla Torres texted a friend that she was driving back to her dorm around 5 a.m Saturday, but never arrived.
A student from Barry University in Miami Shores, Fla. was identified by police today as being the victim of a shooting in the Little Havana area of Miami.
19-year-old freshman Priscilla Torres had texted a friend that she was on her way back to the dorms at around 5am Saturday morning, but never arrived, according to a report from NBC Miami.
There was a report of a shooting not long after Torres’ text had been sent.
First responders found Torres at the scene and rushed her to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
A motive in the killing is unclear at this time, though police have not yet recovered the vehicle she was driving.
