Education secretary Betsy DeVos was criticized by ‘The Daily Show’ host Trevor Noah Wednesday night.
Trevor Noah pointed out that DeVos disassembled the Department of Education team dedicated to investigating fraud, in turn encouraging the return of for-profit universities that have been earlier suspended for scamming students of their money.
“So Betsy DeVos is stopping the people who are stopping the fraud,” said Noah. “She is like a reverse superhero. You know, flies into a bank robbery to help the robbers.”
Noah invited regular contributor of the show, Roy Wood Jr., to create a fake for-profit university ad, that was played on the show.
